The Queensland Building Boost Grant is a grant of $10,000 for a person or corporation buying or building a new home in Queensland for a value less than $600,000 (house and land). The grant runs from 1 August 2011 through to 31 January 2012 and a contract to buy or build a new property must be entered into between those dates.
If you are a first home owner who is buying or building their first home, you may be eligible for a further $7,000 under the first home owner grant scheme.
